SMS Privacy Policy

CDX Care ("CDX Care," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information associated with our text messaging communications.

Information We Collect

When you communicate with CDX Care by SMS, we may collect:

  • Your mobile phone number;
  • Your name and business contact information;
  • Your consent or request to communicate by SMS;
  • Your messaging history with CDX Care; and
  • Information you provide through SMS that is reasonably necessary to coordinate or schedule services.

How We Collect Information

We may obtain your information directly from you, from the healthcare facility or organization with which you are affiliated, through our existing business relationship with your organization, or when you initiate communication with CDX Care by text message.

How We Use SMS Information

CDX Care uses SMS primarily to communicate with healthcare facility staff regarding scheduling and coordination of services. Text messages may include:

  • Scheduling and confirming studies or services;
  • Appointment or schedule changes;
  • Arrival and timing information;
  • Requests for information needed to coordinate services; and
  • Responses to scheduling or operational questions.

CDX Care does not use this SMS program to send marketing or promotional messages.

SMS Data Sharing and Disclosure

CDX Care may collect and use SMS-related data as necessary to send and receive messages, coordinate services, and maintain SMS operations.

CDX Care does not sell, rent, or disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS consent information, SMS opt-in data, or other SMS-related data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS-related data is not sold or disclosed to third parties except as reasonably necessary for contracted service providers to provide and support SMS or related services on behalf of CDX Care, or as required by law. Contracted service providers may use SMS-related data only as necessary to provide services to CDX Care and are subject to applicable restrictions on its use and disclosure.

SMS and Sensitive Information

Standard SMS text messaging may have privacy and security limitations. Facility staff should avoid sending sensitive patient or medical information by SMS unless specifically instructed to use an approved method for doing so. CDX Care may direct users to another communication method when appropriate.

Your Choices

You may opt out of SMS messages from CDX Care at any time by replying STOP. You may text HELP for assistance.

Opting out of SMS does not prevent you or your organization from communicating with CDX Care through other available methods.

CDX Care uses reasonable administrative, technical, and contractual safeguards designed to help prevent unauthorized access, use, sharing, or disclosure of SMS-related data.

  • Administrative safeguards: Internal privacy and access controls designed to limit SMS-related data to authorized personnel based on their roles and responsibilities.
  • Technical safeguards: Security measures designed to protect systems and data used in SMS processing and storage.
  • Contractual safeguards: Appropriate restrictions on contracted service providers' access to, use of, and disclosure of SMS-related data.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this SMS Privacy Policy periodically. Any updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date.
